About Labradoodles: Breed Standard

Australian Labradoodle Temperament
They are exceptionally sweet and gentle dogs.  Their intuitive nature makes them perfectly suited for all kinds of therapy work as well as family life.  They are fun loving and outgoing when playing while also gentle, soft mouthed and generous with their attention to every member of the family.  They are supremely intelligent, which makes them easy to train and exceptional therapy dogs.   An Australian Labradoodle is a superior human companion and will go everywhere with you.  They will seek out eye contact and want to lay by your feet when at rest - you need to be ready for all that love and attention!



Our Dogs: Can be found at our feet or by our sides.  They know how to relax but are ready to go when there is activity.  At bed time after the kids are in bed they take themselves off to their special spot for the night.  First thing in the morning, they are waiting at the bottom of the stairs with wagging tails and a gift in their mouths to greet our youngest child and earliest riser - he feels like the luckiest kid in the world.  He gets his pillow, teddy and a blanket and curls up with the dogs before the rest of the family gets up - very, very cute!!

Miniature stands 14-16 inches at the shoulder and weighs 15-25lbs
Medium stands 17-20 inches at the shoulder and weighs 30-45lbs
Standard stands 21-24inches at the shoulder and weighs 50-65lbs

Colors
Shades of cream, chalk, apricot, red, chocolate, cafe au lait, black, silver, parchment

Coat
Wool: Like the texture of lamb's wool, the coat is soft, not harsh or coarse, and curly to loose waves. This coat is believed to be the best choice for people with allergies and asthma as it is reliably non shedding. This is a low to no odor coat.
Fleece: soft textured coat that can range from straight wavy to spiral curls. It should not feel harsh or coarse. This coat is also reliably non shedding in the Australian lines and is good choice for people with allergies and asthma. This is a low to no odor coat.
